General Off-Topic Thread #1: This One's Retired For You

Other teams have a general off-topic thread and figured it's time we had one too. Whether its booze, broads or anything not related to hockey, discuss it here.

Culinarily speaking...is there anything better than Mexican food? Seriously I could eat tacos everyday.

I can do a little photoshop here and there depending on what you need. I did both of these earlier in the year. The Koivu one is a wallpaper, the Lats one is just a larger piece that I just fooled around with so it won't work as a wall.

These are just randoms...

I could probably eat Chipotle every day of the week if that counts...

I used to quite a bit back in high school. My friend had a great ravine behind his house that was perfect. I had an Angel Spy, still do actually, just not exactly too sure where it is since I haven't touched it in forever.

Taco Bell is disgusting, although then again I'm just not a fan of fast food restaurants.

KFC Double Down anyone?

That looks like it was made to put fat people out of their misery.

Everyone needs to try the Double Down just to say they did. I mean how can you go wrong with bacon and cheese wrapped between two pieces of chicken?

I like Mexican food, especially enchiladas. I also like beer, especially hoppy ales. I'm a photoshop hack, nothing like this providence.

Good idea Gopher, off topic is where the action is

Yea, I played in high school as well but was never able to find the funds or time when I was in college. I started playing again last year and will be trying to play some tournaments this Summer. It is amazing how the game has changed in the last 10 years...

As GopherState said, what a rush. I love me some hockey but there is no rush like 5 guns shooting 12.5 bps at you!

Ha!

The speedball part of paintball (versus woodsball/scenarios) is more a sport than it is a play-war type game. Flashy jerseys, knowing where everyone is right off the bat. It's more angles, speed, reflexes than playing in the woods. Both are fun and I enjoyed woodsball when I first started but I prefer speedball today.

Alright Photoshoppers...try this one out for size.

Bookman- I LOVE Surly. The MGM right by my place doesn't carry it anymore tho

And my paintball adventures ended when a girl ON MY TEAM freaked out when I came around a corner and shot me in the face.

I read on the Surly blog that they have temporarily halted shipments outside of the metro area. They just can't make enough of the stuff to meet demand, although they have a bunch more equipment being installed, so the hope is that the good ness will flow again in the near future.
