They announced long ago that the Olympic jerseys were one-offs and will be retired after the Games. The World Championship merchandise webshop has all the jerseys in stock (except for the States), and Canada is using the old Hockey Canada logo.
I thought the Olympic jerseys were a one time thing for this year? It might have a lot to do with issues on who owns the rights. Four years at the next winter Olympics they'll probably wear them again, as for this year I think it'll be the Hockey Canada jerseys
No, they have had the Hockey Canada logo for around fifteen years as far as I can recall, at all levels of competition. Well before Crosby entered the league in 2005-06. The logo isn't supposed to represent any individual player in question like the MLB or NBA logos (which represent Hank Aaron and Jerry West in particular).
I like the logos from the Olympics better for both USA and Canada. The other logo's seem too busy. The only thing I don't like are the Canada white jerseys with the red shoulders, and I think the U,S and A would look good being red, white and blue instead of all white.
