Going to my 3rd playoff game tomorow. 1-1 record. The 1st time I drove there with my car flag on we lost. Next time I took off the flag we won. I put it back on after we beat Washington, we lost game 1 to pit, then took it off right before game 2 and we win. No more flag untill I see a cup!

Keys to winning IMO:

-Halak turns on god mode
-Get first goal and keep crowd in the game
-Don't take to many penalties (Game 2 was pretty good in this regard all things considered)
-Get heavily outshot (We're 5-1-1 when we get outshot, 0-2 when we outshoot)
-Don't give up shorthanded goals
-Halak gets increases god mode level
-Don't get any injuries

If all else fails just score more than the opponent.

Piss Crosby off and take the team by the heart. Play slow, boring, fall asleep hockey, and get him pissed off. Malkin will follow, and you make them take lazy penalties, and watch our powerplay pick Fleury apart.

Crosby's stats at the Bell Centre aren't very impressive. Hope that trend continues.

In 8 GP: 2 G, 5 A.

Hasn't scored a goal here since his rookie season.

Just to explain that great .gif, there was a video monitor in between the benches, and Sid is trying to get a glimpse of a replay. LeClair seems annoyed at being bumped.

Lamaze class tonight with my wife. From 7 to 9.

I'm recording the game, and we should be able to get home without knowing what's going on. The problem is the other guys in the class, who might spoil the score for me after the break at 8.

Thanks for the explanation.

I'd be annoyed too if I was John. Imagine being a multi-year vet, Stanley Cup Champion and being bumped like that by a kid but not being able to say a thing because you'd then get the boot from the team.

On the bright side, even if they spoil the score for you at 8, it's only going to be the score of the 1st period. You can still get home and watch periods 2 and 3.

I predict that Fedatanko will score a hat trick and Fluery will get the shutout.

Big game. Gotta get in Fleury's head because he has looked brutal for most of the playoffs so far.

No halak will be horrible more like 5-2 , pens are way to good for us they will dominate us on the pp and come on we can't compete vs the mighty penguins with the likes of Crosby , Malkin , Fleury , Gonchar , Sta...

Every game is a cardiac game with the cardiac squad. How many games have this team won comfortably without having to scramble in the last 10 mins of the game? I expect no different tonight..

A 1 goal game win or a 4 goal loss.
