Surly is amazing. They sponsored (actually probably still do) the ultimate frisbee league I played in during the summer and the end-of-the-year party was at the brewery. Nothing is better than drinking from a keg of beer that was made twenty feet away from you.

Plus Darkness is seriously the best beer ever.

So I was watching Billy Madison on ABC Family the other night and found something odd. They bleeped the word "psycho" but let the word "doosh bag" fly.

Has anybody heard of weirder one?

Back in my blunt smoking hip hop listening days I know that D12, Eminem's little rap group, would have weird radio/video edits in the sense that Eminem could say things, but if one of the other members (who were black) that it would be edited.

I go back and forth on Flo. There's something about her which grabs my attention, but at the same time she's a little annoying and weird (at least in commercial form).

Just realized that today was Cinco de Mayo. How sad is that?

I used to be a landscaper...and one of the mexican gentlemen I worked with lamented to me that Cinco De Mayo is more of an American holiday. He said that its a blip on the radar back home in Mexico.

When the hell did it become October? Christ, I had golf league tonight, and it was a four club wind and 40 degrees out.

Miserable.

I could see that because Cinco de Mayo's not Mexican Independence Day.

Don't know what says about you, but then again I've had the Guns and Roses cover of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" stuck in my head all day.

Funny, especially since I've had this cover of a GNR song in my head this afternoon.

At least you're not getting the "well your little brother is married and your sister is about to wed...what about you?" question.

Well my younger sister should be getting married sooner rather than later, but I guess that is true.

Mexican food is the best. Especially Chipotle, even if it's not authentic. Baja Sol is fantastic too.

I enjoy cooking, and am getting better and better at it. Last night I made a delicious T-bone steak with a beer & brown sugar sauce (didn't reduce as much as I wanted though) covered with blue cheese. Holy crap.

I love beer too. My favorite right now is (don't shoot me) Bud Light Golden Wheat, because I try and watch my carbs to some extent, and it's the only light beer that doesn't taste like ass. I also really enjoy most of the Leine's beers during the summer (a Summer Shandy or Sunset Wheat ice cold on a hot day is great). But Surly Bender is one of my all-time favorites.

Hey, that gives me an idea...how about listing your favorite beer for each type:

Lager - Stella Artois
Pale Ale - Summit EPA
Wheat - Leine's Sunset Wheat
Brown Ale - Surly Bender or Newcastle
Amber - Finnegan's Irish Amber
Oktoberfest - Summit
