I think all of them? I cannot recall any trades we have had involving 2010 draft picks except maybe the Brad Stuart trade but I thought those were all 09 picks.

If memory serves me right Detroit has all their picks this year including two 7th rounders.

Cool. sometimes it seems the 7th rounders have a better shot at the big club than our mid rounders.

What about the 5th rounder we got for Leino?

EDIT: Maybe we are getting this extra 5th/7th mixed up?

For this year, we have all of our original picks and no more. We got a 5th for 2011 for Leino. 2012 picks have not yet been traded so we've got all of them also.

What are 3 players Detroit has a realistic chance of picking up. I read that Kabanov might drop to the 2nd round. Probably because of the risk of the KHL.

What are the chances they pick up someone who can jump right into the NHL and make an impact?

Players that are picked later in round 1 usually need some more time to develop and go back to their college/minor league team or the AHL for a year or two. It is very unlikely that a NHL-ready player will be drafted late in the round. Unless it is a European player that has already developed a lot beforehand (Franzen and Ericsson for example), but that still doesn't guarantee that they will be able to fit right in.

I trust the Red Wings scouts to find players that either can jump right into the team or take time to develop in the AHL.
