I've just started using an old PC while my laptop is away getting repaired and it's loaded up to the hilt with crap old programs, malware, viruses and everything else. Basically, i want to give it a good old reboot, but not sure how i can do this as i have no idea where the CD is.
Is there a way around this? I've heard there's a 'backup' option in system tools, but it's not there for me...
Hopefully this helps out. Click on control panel, then click on system and security, look for something that says back up and restore. There should be an option that says recover your system settings or your computer, click on it. Then click on open system restore. Once you do that it should open up something similar to an install wizard and follow the instructions.
