Suter is confirmed as not going. Understandable: he's probably spent.

What? Not a member of the Nashville Predators.

Erat is awaiting the results of his post-season physical before making a decision. Hamhuis turned down an invite to help take care of his 2 year-old and newborn daughters. Hornqvist will not play due to injury. Suter was not invited due to injury. And I don't believe Weber will be playing either due to injuries he is battling too. Arnott won't play and Rinne has already accepted. All three Germans will play in their homeland and are looking forward to it...

Don't forget Grebeshkov, who will be wearing Russian colors in Germany.

Also Poile is assistant GM. He accepted the job prior to our first round defeat. "Oh let me check my calender, yes, I'm will be available during the 2nd round of the playoffs, no problem."

And Roman Josi for Switzerland, I guess he'll earn Top-4 minutes and much ice-time in the PP as the Swiss are missing 3 out of their Top-4 Olympic Defender (Streit, Sbisa, Blindenbacher).

Congrats to Pekks, who will be one of Suomi's most valuable players.

Nice, I'm excited to see Josi since he missed the Olympics

Agreed, he will also be auditioning for the 2010-11 roster much in the same fashion as Wilson did last season too.

We all know the mantra, "the road to Nashville runs through Milwaukee" and I just can't see Josi skipping that, but due to his dynamic talent...should Grebeshkov not be retained...I could see Josi challenging for a spot out of camp in an offensive role, but I just don't see it as anymore than a long shot at this point...

I doubt it. Poile was very clear during the Olympics that he had made his case to Radulov and that the ball is clearly in his court to take the next step. Will they talk? No doubt, but any rumors created will be just that since the KHL will fight tooth and nail to make Radulov honor his KHL contract since it was a big coup for their league to get him away while under contract in the NHL still.

I don't see any way Radulov returns till 2011-12 at the earliest...

I was sort of hoping Rinne would tell the Finns he had the you-left-me-off-your-olympic-team flu and begin his off season rest.

Good luck to all the Predators at the worlds!

Goc has been wearing the C for Germany in the exhibition games and is likely going to be their captain in the WC.

Goc's record for being the youngest at the WHC will be broken by Switzerland's Nino Niederreiter.

Josi just scored for Switzerland... he came around the net and scored fivehole. 2:0 Switzerland in the 2nd Period.
