Aaltonen and Kapanen should play on their off wing to start it, since they ALWAYS switch anyway xD
except for the glaring mistake by Vatanen on Regin's goal I think he looks quite good.
One thing that is worrying is something that was Rinne's weakness biggest problem in Kärpät is that he doesn't still communicate all that much with his defence. He is not a madman like many other good finnish tenders; which has good and bad sides to it.
**** >_<

It's weird that the finnish PP wasn't successful since the Danish team completly ignored Nummelin as if they've never heard of him.

They are up to this class in scoring and if not pushed with a high forecheck; they will score.

Put Pihlström on the PP, thanks!
And no Aaltonen on the point.

Well, we are getting our ***** handed to us here folks.
I just got a sudden urge to bump the "sad state of finnish hockey" thread.
Sammy Kapanen seems to be the only one who is trying out there (no surprise really).
Looks like there is still wet paint on the goal frames btw.

Jussi Jokinen has been virtually invisible this far. It might be a good time to try him in the middle and get him more involved in the play.

A guy named Vatanen knocked on my door looking for some guy named Regin. I wonder what that was all about?
Finns. Tone down your self-loathing. It's early days. You will rebound. The Danes defense will give you many chances to reclaim the game.

With this kind of defence we will not reclaim. One could argue this is the beginning of the future of finnish hockey, eventho i blame Dufva and Jalonen who are bloody awful, but still we really got no future in the game of hockey. From this moment onwards i'm officially on the Swedish bandwagon.

Nummelin - Vatanen should try to play on their off-wing d-positions so that they're ready for the one-timer.
And Powerplay really needs to wack a couple of pucks at the net.

Beautiful play! Too bad. There's some energy out there, but still no one seems to be interesting in using the danes' mistakes ...
