No, worse teams usually take more penalties. This was the first penalty which looked weird.

Good spot by Nummelin. Pihlström tries to cover up in front of the net. The right kind of play! Next one will be goal I hope.

OK... I haven't said it here yet, but Looker (the US Ref) sucks. He sucks in the DEL and he is just bad. hope this is his only game at this WC.

You should see some of the swedish refs that got the nod in the olympics and last world champs... It's not just soccer in which they carry a rich tradition of being weird... There are a couple of finnish refs who are pretty interesting as well...

Is Pihlström injured? His skating looks awkward.

Sad state of Finnish hockey in effect. But I'm happy that it's Denmark who's handing our hindparts to us on a platter.

To show my support, I'll be drinking Tuborgs for the rest of this (short) tournament. I can't watch this Finnish team while sober

The tight box is extremely hard to come through. They must be smiling too as I don't think Finland would do better even if they brought more intensity to the game.

Looker is the ref? He is the worst ever. Remember him in 2006, Latvia played Canada. 0:11

This will hopefully serve as a wakeup call.

There is a very small chance that it gets turned around; but virtually everything needs to get better....

A very good lesson for the new Finland to have.

Denmark's defence from wednesday compared to this game is night and day. Andersen looks better than Galbraith did, too.

Vladimir Schindler. That says it all as far as 'interesting referees' goes

Same here, I'll go open Whiskey bottle.

Denmark will win this if they don't totally get out of their plan in the 3rd!

To be honest, Andersen has an easy job and is coming through with flying colours. The defense makes him feel calm and he gives the love right back to them.

SEL quality for sure.

Finland probably needs to start playing this kind of defensive hockey in a couple of years so it is good to have a look at it and how effective it can still be.

Yupp - watched it from SVT too.
I don't think this ranting from us
Finns is to be taken as trying to
take something away from the DEN.
They lead and they deserve it.

I'm happy to see DEN doing well,
but just sad it's against my team.

I really didn't expect the Finns so weak and I don't see how the can turn around the game in the third period.

Against Germany and USA they have to play much better otherwise they will stand with zero points after the Preliminary round!

It's a gift of finns to make the opponent goalie look like Hasek, not the first time and certainly won't be the last time that happens.
