Saves Zebb 15, Vehanen 5

BUT real chances 1-1 or so. We are officially at nearly same level as Germany

Much better game than vs the Danes. Well, that's not difficult but at least. But I'm sure the Germans will score soon...

Aaltonen is our best player so far again..

This is the real Finland. They clearly have the gameplan to play much more agressive than last game. They are also outskating us a little but we can keep up physically. I think Germany still has room for improvement offensively. If Finland scores first I think they will win it. Aaltonen is very dangerous everytime he's on the puck.

The swedish ref doesn't want Germany winning either - just like on Friday.

Germany deserves to be relegated just for this abomination of a World Championship title "song" alone

The German studioguy had a pretty weird interviewing style. He just interviewed Jari Kurri and the German went on and on about how Finland has 0 points.

When Jari said that they hoped to win the game tonight the German once again said "But you will have to score then, right now you have zero points" haha it might not be a perfectly accurate quote but close.

One could argue that there should have been 0 penalties against Finland in the 1st period, yet Germany was the only team with PP time.

Must be a newbie, haven't seen this guy before, but then I don't watch German TV much because there's no hockey on anyway. He also mistook the Finnish for the Danish Team once during the interview.

I have been reading great things about Aaltonen lately.
I understand that St. louis no longer has his NHL rights but he has a contract to stay with Pelicans.
IF an NHL team wanted him, can he get out of that contract to sign as a UFA? Does Finland have a Transfer agreement with the NHL?

Finns are skating in circles in the German end, and Vehanen hasn't seen a shot for quite a long while.

Compared to the Denmark game, the Finnish level of intensity is from a different planet.

Though, there is no cure to the national curse of having hands of stone.

Have you tried the instructions in Myp2p forum's sopcast section http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/9529-Sopcast-on-Mac. You have to install some programs to make it (hopefully) work, but it seems worth trying.

Crossover does not work well with Snow Leopard which I am running. But thanks for the tip.
