My God, that was a thing of beauty.
He needs to go spend the summer getting stronger on his skates. Only thing holding him back in the NHL, IMO. Does some good stuff on the puck, but if you watch him away from the puck he goes down a lot.

Woah. Lets not start bringing in beer with negative connotations here. It's all fun and games and then you'll say something you regret.

No. No, no, no, no. You don't want to give them that much more motivation to finally eliminate you. If we had attempted to run the score up, you can guarantee they come out FLYING in game 6....

If they don't come out at 100% as is, then I don't even know what to say.

That would be Oh Captain My Captain, yunno...the two guys who don't get along

My friend pointed that out immediately, we loved it. Great veteran move.

All I wanted was some projectile diarrhea on all things Boston tonight, and I got it. Thank you so much, Flyers.

I'm not worried about Leighton and I'm happy about Giroux. Keep it comin' boys.

+1, I have no beef with Sam Adams.

I do feel better about Leighton after reading yours and Gert's posts btw. Being optimistic about this team in the playoffs has crushed me before, just trying not to set myself up for a huge let-down.

I still believe the Flyers can pull this one out. Win this game at home, anything can happen in Game 7.

Go Flyers!

Nodl has looked very good when he has been on th eice. Throwing the body at almost every turn is good to see. I am one of the few ( i think) that thinks it is foolish to give up on him yet. Hopefully he can develop some scoring touch.

He's been a very nice surprise this year. I wasn't a big fan and I didn't see a lot out of him, but he's proving himself out there.

They've paid their dues,

Time after time,

They've done their sentence,

And commited some crimes,

And bad mistakes,

They've made a few,

They've had their share of snow plowed in their face,

But they've come through !!!

GO FLYERS!!!

He has looked good in every game he's dressed and is getting better. It's been a pleasant surprise. I had about given up on Nodl because I was completely unimpressed with him during his stints last year.

No fear from him. Multiple times I noticed him taking the body on Chara with no hesistation, forcing the play.

You know, it's so funny you mention this. I was also listening, and I swear to God I thought to myself... "MSE would know the answer".

I couldn't believe it. It was like there was a magnet in the puck to his stick. I can't believe we got him for OKT.

I forgot all about it until right now.... RoDu, you rule! Keep up the good work! Apparently Leino thought you were talking about him! JVR didn't show up on the scoresheet, but he had a good game.
