I was thinking the same thing. Kimmo hasnt seemed like himself all year IMO. Dont get me wrong he is still very good but it almost seems like he has dropped down a notch since the arrival of Pronger. Is it because Pronger is so good that everyone else on the D look that much weaker or is it due to Kimmo's age catching up to him? I am not sure but it almost seems like he feels because Pronger is here he doesnt have to be the "GO TO" guy. You can even notice it on the PP he never shoots anymore like he did last year he just keeps passing it off to Pronger.

Matt Carle had an assist on 4 of our 5 goals, including the OT game winner and was a +5. How is this man not one of the three stars?

I would have put Recchi in there too... damn near stole the game single-handedly. OT goal-scorer is pretty much a shoe-in. Giroux, Pronger, Carle, Briere, Recchi, and others all had great games though; gotta leave someone out of the party.

Btw, is that Giroux who's coming off the bench and sprinting towards Gagne like a maniac? (1:33)
I think it is, because he was second one into the pile and that's not even his line on the ice. He must have been changing for Richards

When Gagne wasn't named the first star, I was convinced he was.

The layoff means Dan Carcillo can rest his aching knee. He missed most of Friday’s game. ... General manager Paul Holmgren said there was no update on him.
