TotalONE Stick

Just got the schpeal from out bauer rep. pretty nice stick. full one piece, bigger sweet spot for the kick point but the same mid kick point as the one95, full composite blade and more balanced and a new grip called "grip tack" IIRC no more stickum. the grip tack is like a tackyness that feels kind of like a nipple grip and its around teh corners of the shaft. made mostly for slap shots

the one100 is almost the same thing as the one95, so its a really nice stick too

the one80 isnt a bad stick either, it has this pad piece on the toe which is suppose to help toe drags but he said most guys tape over it

anyone see it yet?

The toe drag thing on the toe of the One80 is a really smart gimic on Bauer's part. It'll attract a lot of younger players.

Will the TotalONE have the double concave walls that they're using on the One95 and X:60? Doesn't actually look like it from the bottom picture, but pretty hard to tell from that one look.

that pic shows the carbon weave pattern that is seen on some pro-stock one95's today. The TotalOne's were made available to pros painted as One95's... (which are available on ebay )

Prostock "one95"

better pic of the difference

I really liked the feel and balance of the One95 but the flex was off. I used a 67 flex intermediate and it still felt too stiff on wristers. I'm really not sure why this was, but I would love to try either a 60 flex or if they made them whippier, another 67.

In the end, I just don't think I can shoot with a mid kick stick...shots were fine with my Vapor XXV, Dolomites, Harrow 300's, and 7k Sickick.

Those large weave one95s can also be vapor series. Bauer pro series sticks are available with tons of options.

There are Vapor XXXXs with one95 graphics, also there is a pro option for 12K on the one95 shaft. You can't go by the weave in the shaft to say it's a TotalOne... but yes, there are some using the new TotalOne under a one95 graphic package in the NHL right now.

I was aware of that, i didn't want to get into too much into detail with my post, but some are even X60s with the 12k option/One95 graphics. IIRC, the difference can be told in the taper of the shafts between a re-branded X60 or TO. That or unless someone sits there and breaks down the stamped code on the stick... which most of us wouldn't know.

The TO's are out there though. Some educated sellers are providing this coded info to help differentiate on the re-branded One95s.

There is no option for 12K on a X:60.

The repaints would be a standard X:60, a custom flexpoint one95, a one90 or a Vapor XXXX... and of course a TotalOne. Blades can vary.

Can anyone whose seen the sticks in person answer this? I looked for literature on them when this thread first started but couldn't find an answer at the time.

That seems like a really dumb move on Bauer's part if true. The One95 blade pretty much made the stick. That picture looks like a repainted X60 to me.

It doesnt necessarily have the same blade as the X60. It has the same weave pattern visible on the blade, that does not mean that the core of the blade is the same.

But is the one100 going to have the current one95 blade? I'd be kinda pissed if they did away with the one95 blade altogether.

Anyone know the overall shaft profile? Is it going to be boxy and squared like the One95 or are we looking at something towards the rounded/contoured edge end of the spectrum?

I'd check with him again, it doesnt make sense. Its a very different blade than what is currently being used on the Supreme stick and the blade is one of the reasons that Supreme users use that stick. It wouldnt make sense for them to put the same blade on the different lines as you'd basically be overlapping tech on the two lines.

That and I've found that reps are sometimes the last to be given the actual info and he may be assuming, just like others, that its the same based on the weave.

Thats interesting. Seems its not the same blade as the X:60. It seems to be a new version of the Supreme blades as the current One95 has power core II blades, the TotalOne shows power core 3.

What is more interesting is the One100 says its the same blade as the X:60, Aerofoam II instead of the power core II that is in the One95.

So it seems that the TotalOne is a new tech of the One95 blade and the One100 is going to the X:60 blade tech.

That sucks, I wish the One100 would just be the One95 as I love that stick. Hopefully the TO will just be an improved version as if the One100 uses the X:60 blade that sucks as I hate that blade.
