History. I've always had a soft spot for the Habs, I think there's an aura around the team that draws me in.

Plekanec. I've really liked the guy since his rookie year.

Gorges. I grew up in Kelowna, watched him win a Mem Cup on our home ice, and was late to my high school grad ceremony because of it.

Halak. I have an illogical hatred for Price, and have been pulling for Halak to take the reigns the last few years.

Camalleri. As a Canuck fan, anyone adding salt to the wounds of the Flames is good in my books.

Gomez. I'm not going to argue he's not overpaid, but I think it would be hilarious that the year the Rangers thought they pulled a huge coup getting rid of him they finish 9th while he helps the 8th placed team go all the way.

I'm fully on the P.K. Subbandwagon.

Ryder Halak and a 2nd (Subban), oh the irony

The fans. You guys get an unfair rep on HFboards due to having a large fanbase and a proportional amount of bad apples, much like Canucks fans.

The underdog story. Everyone loves the underdog, but I haven't been able to cheer for the last few (Calgary and Edmonton) as a Canucks fan.

The atmosphere in the Bell Centre is ****ing awesome.

Good luck the rest of the way.
I like the Canucks as much as you like the Habs or even more, and I was crushed when they lost again to the stupid Hawks. I was hoping for a Van-Mon final, even though the Habs get killed by the Nucks whenever they are playing in Vancouver.

I was 10 so I remember it a bit more. The two things that I remember the most were David Volek's goal that made us play the Isles instead of the pens and the OT goals scored by John LeClair in LA. Also, who can forget McSorley's stick infraction?

LeClair was absolutely the beast that year

The stick measure was just one of those "how stupid can you get to have that stick in your rack at that time" moments

to top it off . . . the wink

'86 was excitement beyond belief but this compares. I'm more into it than I was in '93 I appreciate it more after all the pain since we traded Patrick.
