IMO not a bad period from the Finns. They had also a little bad luck as they hit twice the post of the Belorus goal. With a little bit more luck they could lead the game.

I hope they keep the pressure there are still 40 minutes time to score.

When is Finland not going to have trouble scoring? I know it's only been one period and it's not a disaster but really, it's the same thing every ****ing year.

Every finnish line must be ready and eager to capitalize on the errors of team Belarus, most of the time. There are quite a few cases of bad puckhandlers on their team and it must be used better to Finlands advantage.

Agreed. He has a body and mind made for the NHL and it's an embarrassment that he is not there already.

Poor man's J. Ruutu. I'd still like to have him on Toronto.

It's a full movie it seems...

And they're speaking polish! Or something that very much sounds like polish...

Yes, the guy changed the channel at the end of the period and yup, we are watching Polish tv.

Hopefully he changes back at the start of the period though.

Nice! I guess it looked a little like Chris Tucker talking to a woman. IN polish! So it's quite a feat!

Yes, I believe so. I wish he was a bit taller, he'd be an animal.. at 5'10 he is kind of smallish for the NHL.

Half over and only 1-0. Does not bode well.
