Tukka Rask vs Jaroslav Halak

Antti Niemi vs Evgeni Nabakov

What happened to all the North American goaltenders?

How did the Flyers only hold them to 1 goal in the last 2 games? The Bruins finally solving that Leighton goaltending and in a big way. Oh well, by the looks of things it's our Habs against the Bruins and it should be a war. They're looking for their own Cinderella run and the rivalry changes things. Won't be easy just because we shut down Crosby.

Bruins in 3.

After tonight, Bruins will be the only team in these playoffs to have finishes the series at home... and they've done it twice. Every other series finished on the road.

The Bruins have the #1 PK in the playoffs so far.

Anybody thinking the Bruins will be easy is insane. Rask is a great goaltender, he is not Fleury or Theodore, the Bruins are a tight tough team, they have dealt with injuries all year along and are still here. They will be a tough out.

I hope the flyers at least make this exciting. I'm disappointed so far.

Do you know how many times they've been on the PK? and how many times the PK has turned to 4vs4? Just curious to know.

Rask is a great goaltender, but we're facing a much much less potent offence. So we can worry a little less about "shutting down X player" (not saying we don't have to play good D, we do, there's just no one to neutralize like Crosby or Ovechkin or Malkin) and a little more about clogging up the neutral zone and getting some goals.

I foresee a low scoring series.

One thing I see is 2 sloppy teams , not hitting and waiting for either goalies to mess up

If you mean less potent then Pens and Caps, maybe. But compared to us, they have about the same goals per game.
We have 2.79 Bruins at 2.75

I don't know about low scoring games. I think it can get 3 goals per team a night, about.

No, but seriously, Habs are 4th on the PK, with Boston, Chicago and Philly being the top 3.

I meant the Pens and Caps. Besides, we always play good against t he Bruins. I have a great feeling about facing them.

Considering the two best goalies in the world (right now) are likely to faceoff against each other, I'm not sure we'd see high scoring.

Last year's sweep isn't what i would call playing well. lol

Thing is, we've played a lot on the D in first two rounds. I think facing Boston or phili would allow us to be more out of our zone , maybe more than game 6-7 vs pens. Then again, Boston/phili physical play is much tougher than pens. Hard to predict.

I know Rask plays well and Boston has good D. But watching them, they're definitely possible to deal with. Its the physical play that makes me unsure.

habs have played the two most potent offenses in the league. philly has played boston and NJ, whereas boston has played philly and buffalo. Yep...
