I was comparing both match-ups. Someone mentioned Boston should have not even made it to game 7 because they had a mediocre roster. The same thing could be said about the Habs compared to Washington and Pittsburgh, but they still got teh job done.

that would have been fine since they score like 1 goal per game.

Philly will bang us up and Pronger will shadow Cammy all series long. Not sure which side he plays on tho..

It's the playoffs.
Well a big difference is we have the 1st and 4th leading goal scorers in the playoffs. Boston's leading point getter in the playoffs is a defenseman in Wideman with 12. Cammalleri has 12 goals.

I think that Cammy can play RW if necessary. If so, move Cammy to the side that's not going head-to-head with Pronger (whether that's LW or RW). Let Pronger shut down AKost, not that it'll matter, lol.

If they want to match Pronger with Cammy everytime just put him with Plekanec and let Gomez and Gionta do the job on the other line

whatever man, as some have posted. we got by the 2 best teams in east and three best players in the world. pronger? great. he's also slow and takes penalties and can't play 60 mins. i expect philly to be physical as they were two years ago and i expect us to man up and compete with them. if philly runs around it'll be up to us to cash in on our pp's. see how much running around they do then.

actually I think AKost has played well in the last 2-3 games vs the Pens. Also Andrei does well vs big dmen, it seems to get him going.... into the boards LMAORFL

Some think they'll have momentum, I think they'll be burned-out ...
And the Habs have played 14 playoff games so far. Both teams might be worn out by the end of this series.

PS- They play Sunday, not Saturday.

Boston wouldn't have scored against us and our speedy forwards would have exposed their D. We would have taken them out in 5.

Philly's deep all over. At least they have a back up goalie. Our only hope.

I just arrived home and checked the headlines. Flyers rallied back from 0-3 deficit?! Are you f$@#$ kidding me? OMG. Epic choke by the Bruins. I sympathize with their fans.

Now Flyers are super pumped and more dangerous than ever. I'm worried.

This is the general consensus. I think they're emotionally and physically drained from this come back. Habs have played more games, but if you look at the huge minutes the Philly D log per game, and the style of game their entire team plays, I think we can take this is in 5 or 6

Boston couldn't close the deal. Lets dance Flyers.
Classic.

What if the Bruins could count?
History will be made.

You get a too many man penalty that loses you a series you were up 3 games to 0.
You're a historic failure.
You should get fired.
Maybe, just maybe, Bob Gainey and Lou Lamoriello know a thing or two an average fan doesn't.
