Former coach John Anderson was on TSN's Off the Record today (Anderson is a new, in-studio member of TSN's panel). I missed some of the interview, but it seemed pretty entertaining, and fairly candid. He talked about how he had to battle in the dressing room for half a season before he could get the players to listen to him, and about how there was a culture of losing that he had to turn around. He didn't come out and say it, but it was implied he didn't get enough time to do it. The host also asked him when the last time he'd spoken to Kozlov was and he said on the last day of the season. The host asked if they would keep in touch. Anderson quickly said "No." The host said that he'd talked to a few people around the NHL and they all agreed that firing Anderson was a mistake, but Anderson took the high road and said that Rick Dudley is a smart man and probably just wanted a coach of his own.
