No surprise about SK, he won't be back in a Habs uniform ever, I don't think. Not shocked to see O'Byrne out, but not excited about watching MAB 5 on 5.

I just don't know what to say..

Why are you guys scared of the Flyers? They can't even beat Pittsburgh.

Oh ffs. Not that the D hasn't been miraculous for the most part but it would be really nice to have Markov back.

At least they won't get Carter for a while.

Did anyone hear Scott Hartnell in his press conference?

He ended off by saying "we gotta get through Halak and the Montreal Canadiens". The fact that he said Halak by name leads me to believe they've been talking a lot about beating Halak and that he is already in their heads.

I agree, not that much of a difference.
Washington are WAY bigger and as physical as the Flyers...

We shouldn't have a problem IMO.

I don't get it either. OB was playing well and MAB will get killed by the Flyers.

This D experiment may only last a game...

At least JM has shown he adjust if things are going badly.

Personally, I have no idea what to expect in this series... there are just too many variables, imo.

The only certainty is that the Habs are good and the Flyers evil

Bergeron has been okay for one shift in these playoffs... otherwise, he's been awful. O'Byrne has been great in every game he's played.

I don't get it.

But Bob Hartley didn't think that Bergeron should play more minutes on DEFENSE? 'Cause that's how good he is.

And Hartley already coached in the NHL so....

I think MAB may have been taken for his speed over OB. Just to avoid players like hartnell, giroux and briere to speed past OK. I would personally like OB, not a fan of MAB anymore. Just trying to find some reasons. Plus it might be that JM wants some more offensive oomf as our top 2 scorers will probably be shadowed series long.

There's no way we can break the laws of Pronger physics!!!!

Flyers in 3, game 1 is 9-0 after 1 period until we finally forfeit.

Is O'Byrne really a healthy scratch?

Flyers will dominate deep in the Montreal zone.
Montreal better be opportunistic!

I don't understand why they would not play O'byrne

Did he do ANYTHING to not merit playing

Why can't MAB just play forward if guys like Darche are getting 2 minutes.

Seriously weird.

Agreed Montreal has no chance in this series....

Philly D is the best on the EAST if not the entire NHL
Deepest bunch up front and what can you say about the outstanding goaltending!

Flyers in 4

Th essential difference between the Caps and Flyers is that the latter are way more dirty.

I, as well, do not think we should worry about the Flyers 'size'.

Why do we need to dress Darche? He plays one ****ing minute a game.

O'Byrne was playing very well these playoffs and we could really use his size this series, but I guess playing Darche for 1 minute helps the team more.

Look at this picture.

Do you want this again? Because I don't. You just don't do this to a straight up gangsta. It's just bad.

This is the single saddest picture of the Habs i've ever seen. Heartbreaking actually. Now, this time two weeks from now I WANT A PICTURE OF HARTNELL IN THIS POSITION. AND HAHA THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID. NO THATS NOT WHAT SHE SAID. THAT'S WHAT I SAID AND I WANT IT DONE.

You're right, away game, if Martin puts Darche on the ice, Laviolette will go with Richards line... so we better dress O'Byrne and play Bergeron only on the PP.
