It was the jinxes!
They played "Feels like 93" on CBC!
We didn't say Flyers in 3 enough!
There was threads in the Playoff forum about Halak winning the Conn Smythe!
Someone shaved!

Now even if it was Boston after a 3 OT series winning game 7 we were playing, that effort wouldn't have done it. 6-0? Probably not. But we're losing this game 1 no matter who won the Bruins-Flyers series. Ugly ass stuff. Oh and a bit more grit in the lineup would be nice. Bergeron, you're ****ing through! Gone. Not scoring on the PP and defending like a dolt. If Martin sticks by him, I'll puke. O'Byrne's back.

Just heard: "Some bad penalties killed us". Huh... the first few minutes of the game when we came out on the tip of our toes, afraid of bothering anyone, is when we lost the game.

Bah, reminiscent of game 1 vs Pittsburgh:

- dumb penalties

- bad penalty kill

Then we made adjustments, we took less dumb penalties and the P Kill was stellar

Not worried

The Habs as a team played like manure tonight... You'll see a different Habs team next game..If not this will be over in a hurry..

Well, my theory about the Habs forfeiting the first three games seems to be coming to fruition. Oh god.

It's just a dream....When I wake up we'll have won 4-2. No way Leighton gets a shutout........

I blame myself, I never post in the GDT during the game, today I did.

I still can't get over how boring that crowd was.

Except we were able to score at least 3 goals.
Say what you want about Leighton, but Philadelphia's defense is on another world compared to the Pens and Caps.

Yet, winning on a shootout against Lundqvist to qualify for the playoffs, and coming back from a 0-3 series, can be seen as Cinderella.

This is Michael Leighton in net. The guy we acquired on waivers from Philadelphia in 2007. The guy we traded for a 7th rounder in 2007 to Carolina. This whole goalie thing in Philly from Emery to Leighton to Boucher to Leighton can also be pretty much Cinderella story....

No he was, no matter how you twist it. One stopped all 28 pucks and the other got pulled after 14 shots. I'm not blaming it on Halak btw
