Nothing at
http://spotcrime.com/pa/philadelphia
or Philly.com which reports everything off the police blotter

The fans yelling at the TV guys I can totally see. Slashed tires and stolen plates though, and no one even calls the police? Or are the Philly police in on the fix too?
Denial at its finest.
I have no idea why you are taking it personally and getting so defensive about it.

As far as motive, why does any media outlet start a rumor? They do it to get people's attention. Montreal fans are angry as all hell and are linking to this blog all over the Internet. Until I see photos or see it reported by something more reliable than this guy's blog, this is an unverified and irresponsible rumor.

I don't know why but this guy is funny.

Carcillo went out during an intermission and used his skate to slash the tires and wires for the feed, and bit off the license plate with the 3 teeth he has left
