Ya....what the hell does JM know about coaching the habs. Doesn't he realize that a bunch of kids on a message board know waaaay more about what is right and wrong for this team than him.

C'mon Martin has gotten us to the semi's. Give him a break.....at least til maybe we lose two games in a row in this series.

proven retards=coach a medicore team into an eastern conference final

just because i dont always agree with his lineups and coaching methods at times, dosent make him a bad coach. As much as i know and love hockey, he is where is he for a reason.

MAB again? He has done nothing for us on the PP. In fact, I feel more comfortable with Gill on the PP than MAB!

I love the lineup. Finally Pouliot is back. We only miss Sergei now.

However, O'Byrne needs to be playing over MAB on 5vs5. Just scratch Darche and double shift Lappy or whoever on the 4th line ! And then MAB can do what he does best, use his slap shot on the PP.

Allez Montréal !
Go Habs go !

MAB and Spacek were the only D not in the minus in game 1.
Isn't it funny ?

Sheesh get over it already. O'Byrne is not that great either. He hits but he's too slow.

On every single pp it's just a matter of time before MAB can't control the puck and the Habs are forced out of the zone and lose all momentum

I know, every time he was given a pass on the pp in game 1 vs flyers, the guy would just lose it. One time he did catch it, I was surprised. Spacek or Hammr would have been better with Subban on the pp.

Really ? Hamrlik ? You must have forgotten how awful he is on the PP.
I would play a forward before Hamrlik.

How bergeron, pouliot and darche play ahead of O'byrne baffles the **** out of me. Hes can't be worse than bergeron in his own end. There has to be more to this, maybe hes injured???

Oh, I agree. Didn't say they were the best choices. Just saying that they would be better than MAB because of how bad he controls the puck.

Just seeing that MAB will play over O'B tonight completely justifies my staying away from any thread giving JM credit for this playoff run. The players are getting it done despite his coaching.

Anyway...

lol don't make me make a compilation of MAB's play last night. Even if you think +/- demonstrates how well a player plays, MAB has the worst +/- in the entire playoffs (-10) even without being a - last night. O'Byrne is one of our only three + players with a +1. Not saying to bench him though, just dress O'Byrne and go with 7 D.

Well he is -10 for the playoffs, worst in the league. Jeez, if his last name was O'byrne, he'd be in Cincy

I'd say MAB was pretty invisible last night... as well as his teammates

I was sure O'Byrne would be playing. Thought the main problem in the first game was the fear of getting hit. Surely, a big guy would help.

You lose all credibility when you say o'byrne is slow. Out of defensemen his size, he's probably one of the smoother skaters in the league.
