I'm speechless. I have no speech.

Let's just say that I disagree about what you think of Mr "holding and grabbing" O'Byrne.

You should be. Reality isn't always easy to digest. You did lose all credibility when you wrote O'Byrne can't skate. One of the better skaters for his size. Hes definitely not slow for a 6'5-6'6.

just because i dont always agree with his lineups and coaching methods at times, dosent make him a bad coach. As much as i know and love hockey, he is where is he for a reason.
The guy was a beast with Ottawa and did well in florida despite the team he had. Here, all coaches become tools. He's in the Eastern Conference finals thanks to Halak.

I can't wait for this game to start... Wanna see how the players come out.. I'm really hoping for them to come back with some force tonight.. They cannot go down to MTL 0-2.

The guy relies on holding and grabbing not to get passed by the opponent. He's certainly not an agile skater.

You're confusing brain cramps with a lack of agility.

He's faster than Gill but if you are slower than Gill you are standing still.

Anyway it's a futile debate right now.
He won't play tonight.
End of the story.

Bergeron is even less mobile. Bergeron is the worst small skater I've ever seen.

He's 6'5 240, and you're wrong. He skates well enough forwards/backwards- well enough to pinch in from the point and get back, well enough to follow the opposing player backwards until he lays a punishing hip check into him, and certainly well enough to not be called slow. He only holds/grabs/shakes/shoves(penalties result because he brain cramps every now and then) players behind the net sometimes, thats his style, he uses his strength.

your posts are just becoming annoying.

one track mind, no insight and worst of all, no point.

Giguere brought the ducks to the finals one year on his back...Babcock was the coach, i guess he is terrible as well.

MArtin is far from my favorite, but give him some credit.

Please, none of those stupid "shutout leighton!!"!"!"!" posts. It's quite clearly a jinx, but not to him, to us. Whenever I see this in the GDT's, we lose 90% of the time.

Would be nice to see a forward other than Cammalleri, Gionta or Pleks show up tonight. You know put in an effort, maybe earn a paycheque. Maybe I ask too much?

Well I wonder,

was Game 1 evidence that the Flyers are just that much stronger, faster, better, etc, than the Habs, and that we have heard before the series started?

Or was it just following the same pattern the Habs have been on the whole playoff, with a real stinker each series? If so, that's certainly a good sign.

As I consider myself somewhat of an optimist, I think Game 1 was just what we needed. As we slayed some giants on our way here, I bet Philly was just about to take us seriously... now they won't even know what hit them tonight. I also refuse to believe that a team with so much heart will play two lacklustre games in a row.

It's all part of the system!

Hi everybody, by the way, Habs fan from Sweden here. Been following the discussions around here for a while and now felt it was the right time to register.
