Italy has tried everything they could to remain in Group A, the effort with USA was brilliant but not enough sadly.

I'm proud of this team anyway, we will be back soon!

Anyone familiar with him from his junior or college days that could assess his chances of returning to play in North America? Was his play today just a case of rising to the occassion or is he talented enough to play at either the AHL or NHL levels?

No access to the game today but just read about it on the IIHF site and it mentioned that he had an outstanding game.
