Just score, get to the front of the net and get the rebounds. I have a good feeling about tonight. I'm feeling a big game from Maxim Lapierre tonight for some reason.

Yes he deserved every single beating he took, too bad we dont have a Chris Neil to do the same to this little ****.
The first period is simply vital tonight. I figure the Habs need to score at least twice in the first to make a game and series out of this. Leighton's bubble has to be popped, the Flyers have to play from behind, the crowd has to get into the game, the Habs have to get their confidence back. If it's not done in the first period tonight I fear a sweep.
Philadelphia is using a 1-2-2 system. So, the habs could try and use the dump and chase to beat it, but chances are they won't. So, the habs need to do short passes and hope to get two players attacking with speed and one player as a trailer/ high man and they get the puck to him before the forwards get back.
Or The habs can use the home-run pass from time to time. As soon as they get the puck, someone takes off. This will help make the flyer's d a little less aggressive and back off. Then again, Leighton with two shutouts puts a ton of confidence in their goalie.
For the powerplay.
Play one guy at the point, two on the side, two in front of the net. The flyers can leave a 5'7 Brian Gionta there by himself, but they can't leave two, so this will bring eiter 6'3 Matt Carle, 6'6 Pronger, 6'5 Coburn, or 5'11 Timonen to the front of the net too. So that's 3 people the puck could hit and change directions, or hit and stop dead for one of the two forwards already there to get, or one of the incoming players to get. No more of this 2 up high, 2 on the side, one in a the slot ********.
Also, Martin you need to play the bad players more to give more of a rest to the better players.
