FF8 just had a horrible combat, but a pretty good story.

I've never been an FF8 hater, though I do recognize why people feel it isn't great and I do agree, but at the same time I did like the story and if you don't abuse junction, while still being annoying, it makes the game far less easy.

Junction was just annoying though and if used properly made the game too easy.

I did like the story and all that stuff, and at the time, the graphics.

The problem with junction wasn't that it could make things easy, it was that it was just silly.

Here have some Ultimas. Now don't use them, it's better that way.

FFXIII. Then again it's the only one on the list that I've actually played.

Well to me, the stupidity of it all was just that, stupidity. But what made the game pointless was the ease. Junction properly and everything's a joke.

FF8 is pathetic. It's the red-headed stepchild of the final fantasy series.

Such a broken battle system and questionable difficulty. I seriously beat this game (the ENTIRE FINAL CASTLE) with just Squall himself

I wish that game was just, banished from the entire series

Is it only for PC/360? Either way I'll probably do some research but just wanted some opinions on the new stuff the downloadable content gives you.
Sorry for the delayed response, I missed it

It should be for both PS3 and 360 from what I understand.

The 1 that is a must buy is "Brotherhood of Steel"... this basically continues the game after you "beat it" than the expansion kicks in.... it also increases the level cap from 20 to 30.. adds in a butt load more achievments\trophies and the mission is pretty bad ass too.

You go to an air field taken over by the Enclave, you have to destroy it and Nuke the enclave.. you also get to control Deathclaws... its pretty wild.

The other downloaded content differs, there is Mothership Zeta where you are abducted by aliens.. it was pretty funny to be honest, lots of dark humor in it. You also get some sweet alien weapons and loads of ammo for it.

There is "The Pitt"... I never played that but I heard it was the worse of the DLC, you go to the Slave haven in Pittsburgh I guess and explore that.

Operation Anchorage was very good DLC. You entered a simulator and had to play as a US soldier storming the Chinese base of operations in Atlaska, when you're finished with the mission you get a stealth suit (your 100% invisible when crouched), you get t-500 power armour (it never wears down or needs fixing, best armour in game)... and you get the shock sword which is a sword that has electricity damage, pretty sweet too. The Stealth Suit though is my favorite... opens a whole new world of playing because your 100% invisible.

There was another DLC I forget what its called, was told its very fun as well... Its supposed to be like Deliverance in the sense you do work on a riverboat, deal with hillbillies, and the "southern type"... I was actually going to download it soon, play through the game 1 more time before new vegas comes out.

All in all there was lots of DLC and all of it was pretty good, except for the Pitt, mind you I never played it, but I may give it a go... if you plan to get one... Brotherhood of Steel is the way to go... just due to the increase in level cap, and you get pretty sweet weapons too... also controling Deathclaws FTW!!!!

yeah, the Pitt sucks. But the Ammo press was pretty handy, there's some ammo types I don't really use so it was nice to be able to do something with them.

I liked the Pitt

Anyway the best one is by far Point Lookout imo. Just a bad ass DLC. It's pretty short though, maybe 4-6 hours in total.

I thought Operation Anchorage sucked. Zeta also sucked imo but both have crazy armor/weapons you WILL want.

Obviously get the Broken Steel one to increase the level cap, more perks, more fun.

Point Lookout is the one I was refering to...

I have to try the Pitt than... I just read bad reviews, never played it, same with Point Lookout, but read positives, never played it though.

I liked Zeta, it was fun frying those alien ********

I thought Anchorage was OKAY, but the armor you got (espically stealth suit) was just amazing.
