should be interesting to see where Lars and Martin Samuelsson fall. Its a fun list and made out by individuals who have seen the players. Sameulsson is familiar to most of us and was ranked 9th last year. Jonsson was 18th; based on what I have read about Jonsson he seems certain to jump into top 10. Should he end up top 3 we may have to petition the next Habs poster to do a mock 50 prospect list to give him a spot
Lars Jonsson is ranked 8th and Martin Samuelsson is ranked 11th.
Jonsson has been Leksand´s best player to start the season and also
was rewarded for it by being chosen to play for the Swedish National team. Quite a jump. The Bruins isn´t that bad at drafting players, after all.
"Jonsson has developed tremendously the last 6 months and is now the best young defenseman in the Swedish Elite League. Very good offensive skills, a good shot and fine skating".
11. Martin Samuelsson (note that Samuelsson didn't have a write up on the main page)
Martin is currently playing with Hammarby in the 2nd-tier league. So what makes this guy so exceptional? ...Samuelsson is to some extent an all-round player with some fine offensive skills. He combines his size (6-2, 190) with smooth skating and moves. He has a good scoring touch but he is also a good passer. Samuelsson skating is without any doubt his most impressing skill.
