Jacques Martin has given up on the whole "scoring goals" thing. Mathieu Darche is awful and should never play in the NHL, let alone for a playoffs team.

Skate like they can, and get traffic in front of Leighton. The two main ingredients to game 3 win, and the two main things lacking in games 1, 2, and 4. If they can get these two things done, they'll be coming back to Montreal for game 6.

And as much as people are crapping on Darche, if he can just go to the net and get in Leighton's face that's all we need from him.

Sh***y weather over here on my holiday so I'm going to spend the day indoors playing NHL 10 counting down the hours for the big game tonight. Should be a gooder. "Should be". Lets show up in game 5 then I 100% believe. I just need to see one game with effort, if the comeback is for real. I'm only playing Flyers on xbox by the way. It will be no contest...haha

I can't believe I'm going to ****ing miss this game. My 2nd closing shift in like a year. I suppose if it reaches double overtime I can catch the end but **** I'm pissed. The last time I missed a potential playoff clinching game was game 6 against Carolina in 06 when I was stuck closing. What a piss off this is.

Please win. My brother in law is from Philly and keeps ribbing me about rooting for the Habs.

Just score......

and while you are at it ...just win.

Seriously I'm already satisfied with the run, it exceeded my expectations but.......come on don't make history by being blanked 4 times. That's all I'm asking for.

perfect . . . we have the Flyers right where we want them . . .

gonna be tough tonight but hopefully we get it done

worse case, I still have my back-up team to win the Cup. Actualty at this pt, I don't see anyone beating the Hawks . . .

oh, and off topic and all, but lmao at Russia losing to the Czechs . . . that's funny

He doesn't have to beat him, just come out unscathed and keep Pronger in the penalty box for 5 minutes. That would be helpful. The optimum would be having Pronger tossed from the game early in the first period.

Philly scored 4 goals only once in the series. The main task for the Habs (aside from escaping without preventable ES goals or any PP goals at all) is to score a few themselves. No one could have rationally predicted 3 shutouts by Michael Leighton in 4 games.

I'm not even nervous, I'm just relaxed. For some weird reason, I just feel the confidence tonight.

It's like if I was in the state of mind of the players. Once you have nothing to lose, the level of stress vanishes almost completely.

In order of what I demand for this game...
  1. Good, explosive start to take the crowd out of the game
  2. Consistent, solid puck moving
  3. Crisp, tape to tape passes for the most part
  4. Traffic in front of Leighton; searching relentlessly for that garbage goal
  5. SCORE!

See? Not too difficult my Habbies, just baby steps.
