1. Clarke Wilm (On a nice roll right now and displaying tremendous leadership. Playing well defensively and winning key faceoffs. Playing smart, intelligent hockey) 2. Mike Bishai (Not on the scoresheet, but always around the puck and in the play) 3. Mikael Tellqvist (Is on a hot streak and winning some games for the Leafs. At his best when Leafs were outplayed in third period including a game-saving stop on Jarret Stoll)
Hardest Working Player: Ben Ondrus (No points, but was all over the ice, finishing checks, dropping in front of pucks and working hard on the backcheck)
Good game, I was a little nervous of their play in the third period. Tele. really held them in there though. I really like the way Wilm has stepped up his play since him and Moro held the closed door meeting. Ondrus has been matching Wilm's work ethic and play out there. Dom's goal looked like a rock skipping along the water on the way to the back of the net. Tyler Moss should have had that one . Was one of those games where no one player stood out and controled the game. It was a good all arround team effort. Right now I am optimistic that the Leafs have good odds to go 8-0 on this home stand. I am going to the game tommorow night and hopefully Joel Kwiatkowski is in the lineup. I think it was a good pick up for the Leafs. I was sad to see Robbie going, he was a hard working hockey player, I wish him all the best and enjoyed his play while in St. John's.
