Mike Sundheim just tweeted that there is a possibility of another transaction yet today as well... JR must be home from vacation?

I would say it could potentially be something around Justin Kreuger. It's pretty much now or never with that kid and getting him signed.

Krueger and Samuel Morneau are still out there. I wouldn't be shocked to see us let Morneau walk despite how he's always been a good scorer on bad teams. But Krueger's rights we have until August, and there's little chance we let him walk IMO.

Good news with Kennedy, he has all the makings of a good pest if concussions aren't a long-term issue. Worst case he's some added toughness in Charlotte next season.

He came really close to a 30g/100PIM a season ago with Guelph. Looks like he bounced around a lot this year and didn't really get his feet on the ground anywhere. Probably a worthwhile guy to try out in Charlotte.

Krueger signed with a German team yesterday, though there is an out clause should he get a deal in North America.

Interesting, although don't be shocked if the Canes come to an agreement on a contract with him and simply "loan" him Bern for the season as is if there's no room for him in the AHL.

For Kreuger--is this bad--190 cm wide and 96-pound defender-I know I'm not up on my metric system much, but isn't that like 6 feet wide and 96 pounds? How does he find a jersey, that makes him 2-D, right?

Just kidding--but I do like what google translations can do to stories.

Glad to see him still playing hockey. I know after several concussions I'd be seriously contemplating hanging up the skates. I've had one mild concussion and it was still pretty awful for a week or so. If Morneau and Krueger were signed, I think they would probably start off in Florida.

There's a poster named Brock who posts regularly about OHL prospects. He compared Kennedy favorably to current Islanders farmhand Matt Martin who had a decent rookie year in the AHL and got promoted for a few NHL games last season.

haha...The "Taylor vs Tyler" thread is right below this thread, so at a quick glance I saw Canes. Tyler. Kennedy.

I was like, oh no, the pig man cometh
