2. In terms of my own responsibilities, if I have great difficulties or frustrations I will reach out to relatives to resolve them or report them to the company director, I will also agree to contact and communicate with colleagues, personal staff and relatives. However, I will not harm myself or others; I agree that, in order for the company to protect me and others, it can send me to a hospital should I exhibit abnormal physical or mental problems.
So not only do Foxconn employees have to sign that Foxconn cant be sued, but that Foxconn is allowed to send them to a hospital.
Foxconn makes stuff for Apple, HP, Dell, among others. They are a massive company, around 800k employees and the CEO even had to show off the facility to prove it's not a sweatshop (they have a pool lol).
I know Apple routinely sends inspectors to overseas plants such as Foxconn, and Dell/HP also have something similar going.
Hilarious in a sick, twisted way, to say the least. Rumour has it the management style is very stressful there...when you're a major supplier of those 3 guys, I can't imagine what kind of pressure/stress management puts on the workers.
