TekSavvy Contest!

As seen in one of the Georges Laraque threads, TekSavvy's Facebook page is holding a contest :

Quote:
Win $1000 dollars Do your best impersonation of Georges Laraque saying “Tek-Savvyyyyy” as seen in the Georges Laraque TekSavvy commercial Click here to View the ad www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRvReWD0XrM

How it works Upload your video to the TekSavvy facebook group – once it’s uploaded we will pick the top 10 based on comments and people who like your “Can you Savvy” video.

TekSavvy Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...5784972?ref=ts

Georges Laraque himself will pick the top 3! So the more friends that comment on your video the better chance you have of winning a cool $1000 dollars! Winners will be announced on June 12th

1st place –$1000.00 dollars and a signed Georges Laraque TekSavvy jersey

2nd place – $500.00 Dollars

3rd place – $250.00 dollars
If you plan to participate, feel free to talk about what you have planned. If you have already uploaded a video, tell everyone which is yours so we can all watch and laugh at each other.

I've posted mine, it's the 37 second video with the doofus wearing the Habs shirt. Be gentle on me, my ego bruises easily.

Haha, thanks for the feedback guys.

I don't really NEED the money, although it would be nice to have. I just did it because I had some ideas in mind for the video and instead of just tossing the ideas aside and being too lazy to do it, I set myself to do it this time.

And yes, I am completely sober (obviously...). Although if I wasn't straight-edge, I probably would have downed a bottle of Jack before doing it to make it epic.

Thanks for the support!

So far there's not really much competition. All the better. If nobody else enters, I automatically am guaranteed $250.

So with that $1000 are you gonna buy a razor so you can shave that scraggle beard?

I guess I could do that. Scraggle? I've actually never heard that one before. I've grown use to being told I have pubic hair on my face.

The contest ends June 12 so your chances are good IMO.

P.S.
I'm a contest addict but I never participate in video contests because I'm too shy.
I still won $21,000 worth of prizes online in 2009

This is actually my first video entry for anything really. I've always been shy too but I decided "What the hell, everyone already thinks I'm weird anyways so might as well just go with it and have fun".

21k in prizes? Holy...

Don't hookers and drug dealers take cash only?

Well I won a trip to the Olympics ceremony ($15,000)
and a Home theater system (everything except the TV but I won a 42" Plasma TV in 2008 anyway).

I also won a trip to Whistler in 2008

So far in 2010 I won $3300 worth of prizes.

All in online contests.

I once saw a documentary bout ppl participating to contests all day long. they were doing that for a living, most of their stuff was won through a contest. Cars included, trips, fridges, They dint need to work at all.

Professional contest participants they called themselves I think.
crazy stuff

Glad you have enjoyed it so much. Honestly, watching it back again and again, I always facepalm at it and wonder how I was able to post it. Better yet, now my wife's family has seen it so I'm sure they'll have fun bringing it up at parties.

Good news though. The girl that had posted her video has taken it down. At least I think it's good, unless she plans on making another one. Hmmm...

Thanks again for all the support guys. It really does mean a lot.
