Agreed.

Hope the Flyers can find some of that old Broadstreet Mojo. I know the rules have changed but some intimidation would fare well right about now.

Media is working hard here. I've seen on twitter that Parent was told there was no lineup change, but Carcillo said he's playing, and JVR said he doesn't know. Someone told ASF that Bartulis is playing.

apparently JVR is out of the lineup. I would much rather it be Powe. Powe does not bring much to the table and JVR has shown quick flashes of brilliance in the playoffs.

Just not often enough...He was on the ice for 3 ga in gm one. He was constantly chasing the play. Maybe he plays when we're back in Philly. Right now Carcillo is just the spark we need. It's possible that Lavy had this planned all along.

I hope they move Carcillo to Richards' line and put Gagne or Carter wit Giroux.
Bartulis is in for Parent as well.

Maybe Carbombs back with Betts and Lappy to create that 4th line that was dominating earlier in the year and Powe with Giroux and Asham.

In my opinion, Carcillo is not a top 9 forward. There is no reason for him in the lineup tonight. Offense was certainly not the problem. He isin't even that much better in the defensive zone than JVR.

I'm fine with scratching JVR. He has looked lost lately. Powe can at least kill penalties.

I'd rather see what others have suggested by putting Carcilo with Richards and Gagne, and then Carter with Giroux.

But lets say they recreate that BCL line... Powe is not a top 9 forward! Giroux's line will have good defensive responsibility but when they get secondary scoring from that line the Flyers are so much better. I've agreed with Lavs all season, but this time...i shake my head.

Billy suggested what seemed like solid lines if there was going to be a change.

I'm skeptical about what the product would be if what's being reported is correct, but I trust Laviolette.

I'm on board with the JVR scratch. He was in a little over his head in game 1. Carcillo is better defensively right now and I think if he stays disciplined it will be a good move

If there's line juggling, and that's the talk, then I think that's the move. Carter plays left side and has a great angle to let fire from. Carcillo keeps the checkers dogging Richards and Gagne honest.

Lavy would be a fool to break up Hartnell/Briere/Leino after the Game 1 they had.

Good, the juggling of switching Carcillo and Gagne can help ensure more even scoring between 3 lines. Good choice if you ask me, especially since Gagne and Giroux usually do work together very well.

I think the real key there is that if CHI doesn't switch around any, it's Gagne on Hossa who did have a good Game 1. That'll work.

I'd love to know who Carcillo is screwing to get a spot on the top line.

LOL! I just hope it works and I do like that JvR is out because he seemed really tentative. Carbomb should give Richie and Carter more room.
