Why would we get rid of O'Byrne? The reason we lost so easily against the Phylers is that Coach Martin wouldn't play the guy and our wimpy little Defensemen got rattled around. Our only real stud was sitting on the bench, helpless to push back.

Well If he didn't dress a player even though we needed tougness and is supposed to be a touhg guy is a good indication that maybe, just maybe O'Byrne sucks?

Not sure if serious.

If serious, have you ever watched Colaiacovo? He's a much better defenceman than MAB, and unlike MAB he can actually skate AND move the puck.

If he will play for half price since he's only healthy for half the season...

Can we get players that Brunet will be able to pronounce?

"Carlo Colaaia-ayayay-koko ho ho ho Pierre..."

"Colaiacovo Benoit!"

I'd take a chance at like league minimum 1 year. Assuming of course we're done our wheeling and dealing and have the space.

I think he's actually a good player. Too bad he can't stay healthy. But some players are just unlucky. There are 700 of them, law of averages says at least one of them is an unlucky SOB.

However this concerns me:
"2007/01/01 Missed 1 game (headache)."

What? Take some Advil or something!

Remove Hamrlik first then we have:

Spacek-Subban
Gorges-Gill
Colaiacoco-O'byrne

+Markov returning.

I think Colaiacovo is a superior defenseman than what people make of him. If healthy he's a starter on any team and will help your team win games. That said, he needs to check medicaly first and foremost, but yes I'd give him a shot for sure if healthy.

I agree 1000%.

This guy is a dam good player....in a heartbeat.....and anyone saying they'd rather have MAB over him = lol. And I actually don't mind MAB.

We don't need any defensemen
1. Markov
2. Subban
3. Gorges
4. Gill
5. Spacek
6. Hamrlik
7. O'Byrne

And some players like Weber can ben call up

Markov is injured till december... so we down to 6. Some people are talking about trading Hammer. If that happens, we are down to five. We need at least 7.
