jejejejeje yes we play ! we have around 10 or 15 mayor teams, but we dont have a payment, fortunately we have a sponsorship from an international company but we need a coach jejejej we are not so bad i guess!! but we really do need a head coach jejeje

I'm not sure if you want me to help. In 1993, I was the head coach for the Puma's of UNAM. I built that program in Sportica with the help from Daniel Gendron to 900 kids in under two years. But that was then. Today, there are a lot of kids that play on the national team that I coached...Lior Miller, just dropping a name for you. Ask him if I could do the job!
I tried to get in contact with the owner of La Pista, but he wouldn't give me the time of day. I guess I don't blame him.
I am currently running a program in McAllen Texas and I am the Director for the Rio Grande Valley Youth Hockey Association known as... The Heat.
But depending on your situation, we could talk. I would be more then happy to come down there a be the head coach. But I'm not sure you can afford me.

I got a kick out the idea of someone from Phoenix (or a fan of the Coyotes) being flabbergasted that people might actually play hockey in Mexico City. I mean, from a hockey standpoint, other than local wealth, what's the difference between Phoenix and Mexico City? If anything, I'm guessing MC might have an average colder temperature, it being in mountainous area. "They play hockey in Mexico?!?!" just made me laugh, coming from someone in Phoenix.
Also, as someone who lives in Taiwan and is fairly involved with the local hockey scene, I'm well aware that hockey is played in not-obvious places. It's played in Taiwan, and Kuwait, and South Africa and Argentina and Singapore and New Zealand and Mongolia too.
They're not very easy to get. I think you basically have to play on the team, and there aren't many of them floating around.

The Asia cup was only two months ago, how did you get any jerseys already? Which numbers/names do you have? There were over a thousand people out to watch the last few games, and someone estimated over 200 Taiwan Hockey t-shirts sold... if they'd wanted to, they could have sold a quite a few jerseys if they'd ordered any extra.
