Looking at the 08 draft

looked at 5 trades in the 1st round

2 trades in the top 10 to move from 5 to 7 and then 7th to 9th cost a extra pick of a 2nd round.

12th to 13th was a 3rd..
12th/13th to 15th was a 3rd
23rd and 2nd for 21st

So it shows not always a extra 2nd round pick teams will give up to move but it also depends on how far u move down. I mean look at the trade NYI made that last yr they traded 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th just for a 1st and 3rd of which moved from 26th to 16th so i mean it all depends on which team wants to move up and what the price is to pay
