All time toughest Blue Redux

I came up with a new 16 player field for a best fighter in team history and it has a few twists and there are some new names and shouldnt have a predictable finals outcome. I posted it on the main board in the hockey fights section to get more participation you can go there and check it out if you want. It may be cool to kill some time in this way.

If the winner is anyone besides Bob Gassoff, the result is bogus...

Prussian, sorry, Gasser was one tough SOB but Twist in the Canseco era would destroy him.

I changed the format a bit, you can read the changes in the thread. I eliminated both Twist and Gassoff because I didnt want the same finals as last year. There are also other changes that I think will make it more fun.

I saw them both fight -- live and in person -- any number of times, and I can tell you that, 'roids or no, Twist would have had to literally destroy Gassoff before Gassoff would quit coming at him.

It was that quality that made Gassoff feared, that quality of "you might kick my ***, but now you're going to have to kick my *** every single time you see me, 'cause I'm always going to come back."

Prussian, I saw them both as well. I used to sit next to Bobby's fiance/wife Diane. I am as big a Gasser fan as there is but Twister wouldn't have to worry about BG coming back because he would have crushed his face. The eras they played in make it a no contest match. Picard was a better fighter than Gassoff.

This debate is why I eliminated both of them from the tourney this time around. I never saw Gasser myself so I have no opinion. Go check out the threads in the fight site and see if some fun cant be had with the current seedings and matchups.

Because he was such a badass, he would have crushed everyone you matched him up with so would Tony Hrkac.
