Spez Gone

He is gone by the end of the week, down to two teams and just trying to get a second into the deal

**** off. If this happens you'll be a god. If it doesn't, you'll never be able to return to these boards.

I'll believe this just for the fact they want to add a 2nd to the deal, that just screams Murray.

Well a second is pretty much the most valuable commodity out there so its understandable.

That's what worries me. This is a whole different can of worms though. Bobby Butler is one thing, changing the face of the franchise is another.

Daniel Alfredsson is the face of the franchise.
I doubt he's part of the deal

I agree, remember how the board was pissed with the Leclaire trade, then TSN said oh Ottawa also gets a 2nd, and we instantly started planning the parade.

Can you educate me on this one? I believe he only called Butler and that he talked to Tanev. So he may be attached to College recruitment. Nothing has led me to believe he has any idea what is in the NHL trade scene. Anymore inside info that he had?

he's had good calls going for a while now (i believe he had kovalev first) and has demonstrated a credible link to the senators moderators. His posts will stay.

that doesnt mean this info is bulletproof, last minute stuff happens all the time, but the sens board mods consider this a credible source.

Wasn't he the one who called Druzinsky (sp) a week before it happened?

I remember being sick that day watching TSN and when they announced Leclaire for Vermette straight up I was furious. Then soon as they announced the 2nd I was elated.

He has his sources. It's been confirmed before and his track record has proven it. He's been right on more things than just Butler, going back to last year.

God, I feel like a mod again.

He called the Jason Bailey-Shawn Weller trade. I'm pretty sure that one wasn't just a guess.

I'll wait and see on this. All along I didn't think he'd go anywhere, but the smoke just keeps getting thicker.
