I'd like to hear Ozymandias twist himself into a pretzel trying to explain this.

I don't understand this. Why didn't they sabotage his career and force him to stay in AHL for another 3 years until Martin's contract was over? After all we've done for this guy, we should know what's best for him better than he does. Sometimes I don't understand this club.

Ah well, everyone would have accepted an NHL Head Coaching position if offered.

Wow. I would have done the same too. I mean, spend you winter in Tampa or in Columbus...Tough choice. Nah...

This one hurts, because if there's an organisation that I have started to dislike over the years it's this one. Because of the franco element. I hate teams with franco elements. It just gets my blood boiling. And after last summer's trade fiasco, I hate them even more.

Boucher

The nightmare came true. Oh boy! Tampa Bay Lightning with Boucher`s system will be scary. You have Hedman, Lecavalier, St-Louis, and Stamkos. Very scary team. I am sure they will address their goaltending issue. Oh no. I cannot believe this. Sad moment.

wonder what kind of ****ing heat will come crashing down on gauthier, boivin and martin if this org. makes **** summer decisions and doesn't make the playoffs next year - only to watch TB be resurrected?

Ambiton conquers all. I have less respect for Boucher for that.

But man can you imagine the pressure on Jacques Martin next year? People are gonna get on his case like crazy.

Why blame the Habs? They couldn't fire Martin just to keep Boucher. It's unfortunate but there was nothing they could do.

I wish him good luck in Tampa and maybe one day he'll be back in the organization!

You guys are all clowns. The guy wants to coach in the nhl. He owes nothing to Montreal and Montreal owes nothing to him. Montreal and rookie coaches have not gone well.

You are going to get mad at the organization because a guy wants to take a better job that will pay better, okay guys get real. I can understand you being mad/disappointed, but to start going crazy on the organization is just ridiculous.

Montreal will not test having rookie coaches again, let Boucher break his shoes in with Tampa, if it works, good, if not, then we always have a chance to take him back.

It's not the end of the world.

Montreal hired boucher last year to coach the ahl, he wasn't ready for nhl duties at that time. We needed a veteren coach and we got one. No one could have guessed that Boucher would have immidiate success. How can you guarentee that he will have immidiate success with Tampa?
