Connecting laptop to TV

I've never done this before and was wondering if this was possible. As far as I can see, my laptop has an HDMI connection, and my TV (non-HD) has the old RCA (white-yellow-red) connection.

What do I need to connect these? Do I just need a cable that has the right ends? Or do I need some sort of converter?

My plan is to just hit up eBay and get whatever I need for as cheap as I can. I'm not too worried about perfect picture quality, etc... just something that works.

S-Video cable maybe?

Not having an HD TV should be a crime.

If your TV has S-Video, that's the way to go. Although anything other than straight up video will look like garbage.

If all you have is RCA though, you're best bet would be to get an A/V Switch, but even then I still am not sure if it's possible.
