Maybe I'm just a homer but I find the Habs play much better defensively than this Hawks team. Habs seem much more organized defensively overall.

Honestly, I'm not that impressed with this SCF. Quite sloppy, especially the Hawks.

Those shutouts were more the result of Flyers' defense and gameplan than this goalie's brilliance. That defense is obviously a bit less effective against the Hawks talent and size.

That's because we werent big enough to bother him

Gionta could sneak in, but Leighton could look over him

Not only that but no one on the Habs wanted to pay the price in front of the net besides Gionta. Having a player automatically go to the front of the net on rushes forces defencemen to back up and players can take shots on net. None of that happened for the Habs.

The sad thing is the NHL really doesn't care how poor the officiating is. All its done is make a series out of this which equals ratings and money for them.

The game really should be 3-0 right now if not for the missed call on Hartnell and the absolutely pathetic call against Sopel.

I think the Flyers will dominate the 3rd. Hopefully the Hawks will hold on.

I don't think so. They have a hard time containing the Hawks. Their tank is out of gaz. Hawks will win it 5-2.

Toews for the Conn Smythe.

The Hossa curse will finally be over. I am glad for him

That's a nice theory, except tonight the last 2 goals on Leighton have been unobstructed shots going in that he just plain missed.

Watch the Sharp goal, the defencemen keep backing up because the Hawks keep going forward and towards the net. I didn't mean obstructing the view, but instead forcing defencemen to back up and giving the shooter time.

Really confused as to why Duncan Keith said Steve Webb was the toughest player he's played against. I did a quick check and it doesn't even look like they've ever played in the same league at the same time
