Hmm, starting a bit later then usual? I think last year it started a week before. If training camp starts the same time as it did last season, then they will overlap, I don't like that one bit.

Drop the NHL Network an e-mail in regard to Traverse City. I was told last year, they may consider airing it again if they see a demand for it.

Wasn't last year's training camp one week earlier due to the Olympics?

Each team is limited to just four professional hockey players -- those who have played in the AHL, ECHL or Central Hockey League. Each team is going to have a different number of defenseman and forwards as well as goalies but let`s say 7 dman and 13 f and 2 goalies to make up ur predicted roster..

do players who've played some AHL games on ATOs count against the 4 pro limit? I somehow remember Carolina won year with a stacked roster.

I don`t think so because Casey Wellman played like 4-5 games with the wild i believe and im not sure if he counts towards the 4 or if it is full seasons that make the players count towards the full 4

Ok, here would be my possible lineup, assuming McDonagh signs, our unsigned oversea prospects don't play and neither do our NCAA prospects :

Grachev-Stepan-MZA (is he eligible?)
Horak-Werek-Bourque
Weise-Yogan-Thomas
Wilson-Tryout-McNaught
Tryout

McDonagh-McIlrath
Kundratek-Niemi
Maggio-Klassen
Baldwin

Stajcer
Talbot

Probably I forgot a few, but whatever

FORWARDS:
Mats Zuccarello-Aasen
Chris Kreider
Derek Stepan
Evgeny Grachev
Ethan Werek
Dale Weise
Christian Thomas
Andrew Yogan
Ryan Bourque
Carl Hagelin
Jesper Fasth

David Skokan

DEFENSEMEN:
Ryan McDonagh
Dylan McIlrath
Pavel Valentenko
Tomas Kundratek
Mikhail Pashnin
Daniel Maggio
Jyri Niemi

GOALTENDERS:
Scott Stajcer

...Who was that goaltender we signed out of NCAA? He would be the other goaltender.

i don't think mdz or Weise have anything to prove there but that's my opinion.

This is pretty sick. David Kveton might not come over. He's given up on playing american hockey, so if he doesn't have a chance at the roster he might not even appear. Rest of it looks good.

Lee Baldwin might also show up.

NCAA players cant play in this Tourney. So Kreider and Hagelin and possibly McD(unsigned) wouldnt play.

Ah I figured they could, thanks for the heads up. Means from my list those 2 would be exempt but McD will probably be signed by then.
