I noticed that. Although I saw Kane with a bottle of champagne earlier as well.

Kane rocks. Will try and keep my shirt on for you, all summer. For all the cab drivers out there...

Probably. A lot of the prospects and Rockford guys are at the parade, and were on the buses.

I figured they brought along some of the prospects. Its a great experience for them and is a nice team building move for the future.

They mentioned earlier on WGN that during the game, the prospects, and other guys not playing put on the jerseys and gear, just so they could come out onto the ice afterward for celebrations.

Does anyone know if the either the parade or game 6 will be replayed on television? I would like to record them to my PVR/DVR.

Thanks.

Guys... I just saw some pictures. I know what you feel (my hometown team has had a parade too).

I would have been there

I went to the parade! I'll post video tomorrow morning for all of you. It includes sound. I got a really good shot of Hossa and a good video with Toews and the Conn Smythe. OMG, it was AWESOME.

I never knew ticker tape could hurt. Haha. I had some heavy chunks fall on my head and was surprsied by it. I was completely covered in ticker tape. It was so amazing. What a great time!

I went to Theory (an official Blackhawks bar) after the parade and caught the rally from there. (It's mear blocks from the actual rally.) The bar was PACKED to the gills and everyone was cheering and singing. LOVED. IT.

Photos tomorrow. I promise!!!!! Daley, once again, put on a great show.

Beach was there. Lalonde, Bickell, Dowell, and Crawford as well from what I saw.

Amazing experience.

Wish I could have caught the rally... just got back from the parade which was absolutely incredible! I'll post pictures and video later tonight or tomorrow... unfortunately, I didn't get good vids (totally forgot I was trying to record on my phone while I attempted to take pics with my camera).

Watching Toews lift the cup on the back of a double decker bus with tickertape raining down = amazing.

Just got back, that was insane.

I'm not gonna lie, I was about half a block back from the stage and couldn't hear a thing. I did think the "*********" chant (and the pelting!) for those guys on the street cleaner was ****ing hilarious.

I managed to get up to the rails before they left, and it was just amazing to see that cup. Unforgettable.

Let's do it again next year!

I loled when the crowd booed Huet.

Also will Crawford, Beach, Lalonde, etc... Be getting rings? I know they didn't do enough to warrant their name being written on the cup, but they were still formally presented, which surprised me.

No they wont get rings (Crawford/Skille might actually since they played with Hawks this year)

Lalonde and Beach were just there because they were part of postseason roster with the call ups

I was there as well in front of the fannie mae building but decided to leave before they arrived after people started passing out all around me. It took us forever to get a cop's attention, people were cheering the mail truck. I watched the rest of it on t.v.

What time did you get there?
