saying our D was incredible is a bit of a stretch. Yes we blocked alot of shots, but they were still giving up 40+ shots per game on a regular basis.

But the good thing is that Pearn isnt a traitor, and that he didnt leave us like that horrible Boucher, and that finally the habs were able to recognize true talent and kep it within the organization and all that jazz

im getting a pearn jersey

We gave 40+ shots againts the 2 most offensive team in the league. Pearn made our D keep the forwards on the outside making then shoot out of nowhere most of the time. There was structure in place, witch is something I never saw since I've been watching the Habs in 1995-1996.

How is he a traitor?

If you have a chance to be promoted for more money coaching a NHL team, you gonna spit on it?

**** outta here.

Habsinsideout reports that Perry Pearn has declined the coaching offer and decided to stay on as an assistant with the Habs.

I understood Muller was in charge of our D and Pearn was in charge of our lack luster powerplay.

What would you prefer ?

Spending hours on a bus with teenagers... ?

OR

Living top-class at NHL level ?

If anyone of our coaches had to leave my choice would be Pearn. Sadly I think it'll end up being Muller.
