I wouldn't trade either one of Carter or Coburn for him. After thinking about it for a few days I'm not opposed to having Leighton around as the starter going into the season because I think Jeff Reese really helped his game in just a couple of months.

Last three Stanley Cup winning goaltenders aren't quite superstar -calibre: Antti Niemi, Chris Osgood and MA Fleury (who despite being 1st overall isn't exactly perennial Vezina candidate yet). Plus the market is filled with goalies who still are solid starters, as a plethora of young goaltenders have broken out lately dethroning older guys.
Goalscorers and top 4 defensemen are valuable. IMO there's hardly a goaltender in the league who would fetch a return as high as Carter + Coburn. Nabokov, whose playoff record is somewhat dubious (perhaps thanks to the team moreso than his own undertakings) certainly shouldn't.
