Wtf what a horrible deal for the avs.they get a 5 mill contract for basically a 3rd rounder.

We would be getting a 2nd. Not a 3rd and I don't know how you could even average picks?

Second we would not gain 5 million, but 2.8 million because you got overpayed crap going to Chicago too.

After that Tucker's salary is over so we would be at even.

Last is we would add experience to our goaler team.

I think a deal for Huet would go down like Huet and a 5th, for a 4th...or something along those lines.

The Hawks can't afford much salary back....

You forgot that Huet's contract runs for 2 years, Preissing's contract runs for 1.

I think he refers to the fact that the hawks second round pick is the 60th overall and hence pretty much a 3 round pick, but I wouldnt do this deal either regardless.

I would rather spend that 2,8 mill on improving the defense and not goaltending, where we are more then fine already imo and it is debatable how much he would help anyway.

Yes, thats what I mean thx. I'm sorry but this propsal makes no sense for the avs its almost as bad the Hejduk proposal.
