What does everybody think about the law that allows francophone families to send their children to English schools?

Are you in high school?

Honestly, don't hold back on your grad because you have an exam. Pass and you're free.

well, I'm in the "new reform" program and I will go to CEGEP next year.

Still, it's a stupid date to put my last exam.

if you've already been accepted to CEGEP then you just need to pass the exam!

OT: Moose running around Montreal

http://www.montrealgazette.com/Cops+...923/story.html
Quote:
MONTREAL - Montreal Police and animal control officers subdued a moose Tuesday morning in Montreal’s north-end St. Michel district, and the animal was then moved to a Laurentians park and released.

The moose, a bull weighing an estimated 225 to 275 kilograms, was spotted on various streets in Montreal North and in St. Michel starting about 5:15 a.m., Montreal Police Constable Olivier Lapointe said.

We had a black bear running around in a residential neighbourhood last month. Police shot it. Big flap followed. To shoot, or not to shoot.

OT: Buying vs renting in Montreal. I need some help

Hey guys. I'm looking at getting a place in either ndg or downtown to be closer to school and work but I don't know if I should rent or buy. Is there a place where I can see all the pros and cons of each in Montreal. I'm a full time student but also a full time worker making 43k a year. Also if anyone has any expierence I would love your opinion. I'm looking for something that would suit me as a single mid 20s guy. Thanks everyone.

I'm no expert, I don't own anything myself or rent. i still live with parents, but first and foremost I would try to buy, but you have to see if you have the money for it. I would never live dtown personally. NDG is a good call, cuz you're near a highway and a drive down sherbrooke and you're dtown easily.

I can't help you much, but maybe showing people some examples of what you're looking for would help them with your question if it's worth investing the money and suitable for your budget.

wtf

I never talked about the grade. My only point I wanted to show you is how the government is stupid for putting an exam AFTER a Prom and you know what happens during the Prom and after. Thought it was easy to understand. Sorry for the misunderstanding then.

Still, it had to walk around the city before getting to St-Michel which is inland. Crazy.

It really is. It travelled quite the distance if he really did come from there. Its really odd, st michel is very dense, its not like a quiet suburban area where these things usually happen. It was probably really distraught to wonder all the way over there.
