As someone who has seen all of Brad Malones home games in person the last 2 years he reminds me alot of Dan Hinote. Slightly above average speed, not huge but not small, plays with a bit of an edge but is not going to fight more than 2-3 times a year, good hockey sense, fire in his eyes. At UND this last year he played on the PP, PK, and as a top 2 line forward. At times he was the #1 center on the team. As an NHL'er I would fully expect him to fill out a 3rd/4th line winger job.
