Fletcher on NHL Live

I don't have Sirius/XM, but did anyone listen to it?

It was a pretty boring interview I had thought, but he basically said that PMB was exercising lightly and on the bike, but that's really all I got out of it. Maybe I was half-asleep listening to it. Were you guys able to pull anything else out?

-Towed the Ramsey line.

-They are essentially letting Boogaard going to free agency.

-Is looking to improve drafting and development for the reason that they can get more production for less out of good young players.

-Talked up Harding and said "he will be a #1 goaltender in this league for many years." Take what you want out of it.

-Really wants to maintain flexibility and are trying to be active through the trade route.

I think we will see a trade happening at the draft, but maybe a little before. It will be an interesting week for sure.

Yeah, I have a feeling that this year's draft will top the 2008 one for most trades in the first round.

I just have a feeling that we will drop back a couple of spots.

Like I said earlier this week; just a gut feeling CF will move pick #9 to Boston for picks #15 & #32.

I'm still in the camp that he will move the 9 and Schultz to Anaheim for the 12th and 29th.

He's going for the home town boys, I figure. Bjustad at 12 and Nelson at 29...

Edit: Oh, and FYI, the guy that tipped me to Havlat contacting the Wild the night before last free agency told me tonight that Fletcher isn't in on any Chicago deals.

He's saying something insane. His "whispers" are about Sharp + Crawford + Sopel are on the move to Toronto for some of their younger (and cheaper) talent plus Gustavsson. He laughed at me saying I could get a Bozak Ice Hogs jersey at Christmas.

Wife is from Rockford...
