I like Horton and I would hate to see him in Boston.

I'd swap AK46 for Horton, but I doubt Florida would.

As I have stated over and over again on these boards. Horton is the most overrated player in the NHL.

He definitely hasn't lived up to the hype as of yet, but I'd still take him on this team.

He will get 25 - 30 goals, which is nice. But is way too perimeter happy for my liking. He has never lived up to the hype because his physical play is virtually non-existent. I can think of some better ways to spend the same money..Just My opinion

Man, Timonen and Hartnell and now Hamhuis. What's with Nashville sending their pending UFAs to the Flyers? Where do the Flyers expect to get this salary from anyways.

Damn why couldn't we have made a pitch for Arnott...he'd fill so many needs.

i know! Frustrating. He would have been perfect. 4.5M, for 1 year and hopefully Eller takes his spot next year as #2.

I also would have loved Arnott, and also have wanted him for a long time. The price was very reasonable too.

BUT - keep in mind the guy is 35 and on the downside of his career. Even though he was their captain, most in Nashville seem happy that he is gone. And besides, he had an NMC, so he may not have wanted to come here if we were even in discussions.

Halischuk is a better prospect than Maxwell. I don't think we have a 2nd next year. Dealt it for Moore.

He has a NMC so perhaps that's why his return wasn't that much.

Even if we tried, if the Devils were interested he'd never come here. They stick together. Even when they leave, they always go back.
